Express yourself in FFXIV with the latest Patch 6.45 additions – the Reference emote and the Ambitious Ends hairstyle.
FFXIV Guide – How to get the Reference Emote
The new Reference emote lets players literally point out reasons to make their case, perfect for proving Y’shtola is the best character. To get it, players need to purchase the Ballroom Etiquette – Scrupulous Citations from Trisassant in Old Sharlayan (X: 12.0, Y: 13.3), which costs 9 Rokkon Potsherds.
During a run of Mount Rokkon, players can collect at least three Rokkon Potsherds, with one dropped by the first boss and two after defeating the final boss. Multiple runs of the Variant Dungeon may be necessary to accumulate the required currency. Once players have enough Rokkon Potsherds, they can learn the Reference emote by using the Ballroom Etiquette – Scrupulous Citations from their inventory.
FFXIV Guide – How to get the Ambitious Ends Hairstyle
Hairstyles are another way to express personality in FFXIV, and Patch 6.45 brings the stylish new Ambitious Ends cropped cut. While not as long as some may hope, the new look should grow on players quickly with its chic styling. It can be purchased from Trisassant in Old Sharlayan (X: 12.0, Y: 13.3) for 6 Rokkon Potsherds, so 2 runs of the new dungeon should provide enough.
Once players unlock the Ambitious Ends hairstyle using the Modern Aesthetics – Ambitious Ends item, they can freely use it anytime by summoning the aesthetician through a Crystal Bell inside an inn in any of the main cities. The hairstyle is compatible with all races, including Viera and Hrothgar, allowing players to enjoy their new look regardless of any future race changes.
Both the new emote and hairstyle give players fresh ways to customize their characters in the latest patch. Running the new Mount Rokkon dungeon a few times will give you the currency needed to stay stylish. So grab some friends and check out the new content to unlock these cosmetics and elevate your FFXIV fashion game.
